The Inter-Agency Career Week is a joint initiative of 21 UN organizations including FAO, ICAO, ILO, IOM, OCHA, OHCHR, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNOV/UNODC, UNOG, UNOPS, UN Secretariat, UNSSC, UNV, UN Women, WFP, and WHO, committed to supporting personnel in navigating their career paths within an evolving and interconnected UN system.
Designed for personnel at all levels and across all functions, this week-long event offers over 45 virtual sessions held across time zones and in English, French, and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for colleagues worldwide. It provides a space to reflect on your career trajectory, strengthen core skills, and explore opportunities for development, mobility, and impact.
Through Keynotes, Clinics, Panel Discussions and Presentations, this year’s agenda focuses on key themes such as navigating inter-agency transitions, developing skills for the future of work, building personal learning strategies, enhancing resilience, and supporting inclusive and sustainable careers. It encourages participants to approach career development not only as a personal goal, but also as a shared responsibility aligned with the UN’s evolving needs.
Through diverse and engaging sessions, the Inter-Agency Career Week fosters learning, peer exchange, and practical guidance to help you take ownership of your professional growth wherever you are in your journey.
If you have any questions regarding the programme or registration, please contact the staff development team or human resource department in your organization.
