Margaret Jones

Margaret has more than 30 years’ experience in the field of human resources, including recruitment & selection, learning & development, and career management. Margaret joined UNESCO in 2014 as Learning Officer and has led initiatives including career conversations and the introduction of one-to-one career support. She has also worked with the UN Secretariat, heading the Language & Communications Training Unit to lead multilingualism projects and language teaching. Before joining UNESCO Margaret worked in the private, public and third sectors. Margaret holds a B.A. (Hons.) in French and Russian from the University of Birmingham, an MSc. in Human Resources and Performance Management from the University of Leicester, a Postgraduate Certificate in Career and Talent Management from Kingston University, and the Professional Qualification Scheme certificate from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
