Storytelling – How to get your message across effectively and with impact

Course Objectives

Would you like to improve your ability to connect with your audience? Would you like to become a better communicator by telling stories? Would you like to enhance the way you deliver your message in public?

This 1-day workshop aims to help UN staff bring to life their messages when speaking to internal and external audiences. During the course, participants will discover the different types of stories they can tell, how to structure them, how to make them memorable and how to connect with the audience.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• build rapport with small and larger audiences;
• communicate ideas with enthusiasm;
• convey messages memorably;
• match vocal delivery and body language with the words.

Participants will be given constructive feedback and guidance on developing their authentic speaking style.
