Course Objectives
Navigating complexity: Leadership skills for evolving workplaces is a UNOG learning programme designed to strengthen adaptability, resilience and effectiveness in a rapidly evolving work environment.
Building on the foundations of leadership and management programmes offered by UNOG/CLM, the Series translates leadership and self-awareness concepts into practical, future-ready competencies aligned with the CEB UN Leadership Framework and the World Economic Forum’s future skills.
By the end of the Series, participants will be able to:
- Strengthen adaptability and proactive thinking in the face of change
- Apply emotional intelligence when navigating complex and emotionally charged situations
- Think and act adaptively to prioritize, pivot and solve problems effectively
- Manage stress and energy to sustain focus, well-being and performance
- Use coaching and influencing skills to foster collaboration, ownership and constructive dialogue
- Build essential future-ready capabilities, including resilience, curiosity, agile learning, analytical thinking and collaboration
Target audience
Staff at all levels who have completed the Management Development Programme, Game Shifter or other leadership and management development programmes. The Series is also open to those currently leading teams or preparing for leadership responsibilities.

Duration: Seven 2-hour sessions delivered over a 12-week period
