Course Objectives
The Future-Ready Skills Series is a UNOG learning programme designed to strengthen the adaptability, resilience, and effectiveness of General Service staff in a rapidly evolving work environment.
Building on the foundations of the Game Shifter programme, the Series takes leadership and self-awareness concepts further by translating them into practical, future-ready competencies aligned with the CEB UN Leadership Framework and World Economic Forum future skills.
By the end of the series, participants will be able to:
- Strengthen adaptability and proactive thinking in the face of change
- Apply emotional intelligence to navigate complex and emotionally charged situations
- Develop adaptive thinking and execution skills to prioritize, pivot, and problem-solve effectively
- Manage stress and energy to maintain focus, well-being, and performance
- Use coaching and influencing skills to foster collaboration, ownership, and constructive dialogue
- Build core future skills such as resilience, curiosity, agile learning, analytical thinking, and collaboration
