Danijela Milić

Danijela Milić currently serves as Chief of the HR Business Partnering and Culture Division at IOM, where she leads the organization’s business partnering, workplace culture, and performance management functions. In this global role, she promotes a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture. She is also Vice-Chair of the AHRMIO Board of Directors, serves on the UN Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy Implementation Board, and is part of the team advancing mental health and well-being across the UN system. Over the past two decades, Danijela has held a range of HR management and leadership roles across several international organizations and duty stations (UN, UNFPA, STL, OPCW, IDEA). Prior to joining the UN system, she worked in HR and public policy across academia, U.S. state government, and the private sector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science–International Relations and French Language (with a minor in Spanish) from Elizabethtown College, and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York. Danijela is also an author, mentor, facilitator, speaker, and poet, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Multi-Sector Communication at St. John's University in New York.
