Course objectives

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that can lead anyone to find the best way to achieve their goals and reveal their inner potential. It helps to feel more empowered, better prepared to manage change more effectively and to meet professional challenges.

This programme consists of a series of 4-half-day workshops designed to help managers and supervisors to conduct coaching conversations with their staff in order to create a work environment conducive to success as well as foster a culture of growth within their teams by adopting a "coaching posture".

By participating in this programme, you will:

  • improve your coaching skills by further developing your active listening and the use of powerful questions;
  • use coaching skills to help your supervisees solve problems and achieve personal and team goals;
  • apply the GROW coaching model to have coaching conversations with your staff and increase their motivation and commitment.

This course takes place in an informal and confidential setting and offers many opportunities for practicing in small groups. Each session consists of a well-balanced mix of theory and practice.

It is highly recommended to attend all 4 sessions in order to gain a complete overview of the different tools and acquire the necessary coaching skills to apply them in your work environment in between sessions.
