The goal of this course is to improve your communication skills in the professional domain.
This course is based on UN-related materials, such as reports, presentations and press releases. In particular, it focuses on vocabulary, set phrases and elements of style and grammar. Through engaging in various documents and situations, you will be better able to read professional materials and speak on professional topics more confidently.
This course uses authentic materials and offers a wide range of communication tasks. You will learn strategies for improving your professional speaking and reading skills.
There is no formal evaluation. Completion requirement: attendance at a minimum of eight sessions.
