The goal of this course is to help you improve your oral skills at advanced level and in the professional domain.
The course will build your confidence in key areas such as: meetings, presentations, online interactions and negotiations. Through giving you discourse strategies, developing your pronunciation, and fine-tuning your use of grammar and idiomatic vocabulary, the course will improve your speaking skills in the professional context.
With the assistance of the teacher, you will work on an individual course project during the term. You will have a coaching session in which we will plan for your presentation.
You will be evaluated through: attendance at a minimum of eight sessions and completion of the individual project and presentation.
