The goal of this course is to improve your pronunciation and fluency in oral interaction.
This course includes listening comprehension and activities to distinguish and repeat sounds to develop your oral production in context.
After observing and distinguishing various sounds in French, you will do repetition and reading activities to improve your pronunciation. You will interact in simple oral exchanges based on role plays and dialogues in everyday life. You will focus on your pronunciation and fluency.
There is no formal evaluation. Completion requirement: attendance at a minimum of sixteen sessions. Your teacher will assess your progress and give you individualized advice based on your oral production. Corrected and graded final test for those who take the end-of-term exam for Basic 3 or 4 (UN I).
