The goal of this course is to help you develop your online presentation skills and spontaneous speaking to effectively communicate in professional settings.
Through engaging in various UN-specific topics, you will:
- structure professional presentations coherently and understand the dos and don’ts for success.
- overcome challenges in delivery and guide your audience succinctly.
- handle Q&A sessions with confidence.
- communicate in unplanned professional exchanges, sometimes on emotionally sensitive topics.
- develop advanced language techniques to improve your oral accuracy, fluency and pronunciation.
- utilize visual aids and tools for greater impact, including AI-powered tools.
You will attend nine webinars. You will do online tasks to support the content. During the course, you will draft a professional presentation, which you will deliver at the end of the course. You will have pre- and post-course content coaching sessions to support you.
You will be evaluated through: attendance at a minimum of six webinars, online platform participation, four preparatory assignments and your final presentation.
