Are you an intern at the UN? Are you thinking about pursuing a UN career but are confused with the abbreviations on the Inspira job posting pages? This workshop will answer all of your questions concerning career development at the UN after the internship.
This workshop, as a part of CLM Internship Orientation Programme, aims at providing career support to interns working at the UN Secretariat. Topics of the session include staff categories in the UN Secretariat as well as entry-level opportunities, such as the G to P exam, the Language Competitive Exam, and the Junior Professional Officer programme. Possible job opportunities and a holistic picture of other IOs, UN funds and programmes and NGOs present in Geneva are expected to be covered during the workshop. The speakers will share their own experience in career development at the UN.
