This workshop will help you decide in which areas of your work -and in your life- you want to be in charge and what steps can you take to stop feeling that they are in someone else’s hands and that you cannot do anything to change it.
The course will review the concept of influence and discuss our sources of power as well as different ways of positively influencing other people. You will become aware of which “techniques” are most related to you and where it is necessary that you broaden your “repertoire”.
The course will also review your goals and networks and to what extent they are the most appropriate for your present and future. At the end of the process, you will create an “Influencing Plan”, making some commitments to strengthen what is already working and take further action in areas where it is necessary.
By the end of the eWorkshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concept of influence;
- Understand diverse influencing techniques;
- Become aware of your individual “influencing profile”, its strengths and limitations and how to expand it;
- Develop your “Influencing Plan” by establishing influence tactics, specific goals and a broader understanding of the people who are necessary to achieve them.
The eWorkshop consists of 3 webinars with a series of interactive and practical exercises. The webinars will be held over a period of 7 to 10 days, with participants asked to do some preparation between sessions.
