Course Objective
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- understand the main ideas in various everyday and work-related texts
- find key details in social media messages that include opinions and emotions
- follow everyday conversations on topics of general interest like relationships and the news
- write general information and clear instructions in a short report
- write and reply to routine emails with some detail and describe changes
- express your views on current topics, including technology and the natural world, and give reasons for your views
- deal with general administrative requests and make routine arrangements, describing and responding to problems
