• use elementary expressions of greeting and farewell, and simple etiquette forms
• understand the teacher's instructions during the class
• introduce yourself and others
• talk about family and ask simple questions about someone else's family
• describe main professional, daily and leisure activities in the present tense
• fill in a simple form (e.g. for a hotel )
• recognize and name numbers: page of a book, telephone numbers
• write simple and short messages
