In this joint session, WHO and UNIDO come together to share practical guidance on how to build a strong profile, from application through to interview.
We’ll cover how to present your experience clearly and convincingly, what to pay attention to at each stage, and how candidates are typically assessed by hiring teams. You can expect concrete tips, common pitfalls to avoid, and insights to help you approach the process with more clarity and confidence.
This session will help you move from “eligible” to “competitive.”

Draga Paskova

Draga Paskova is a HR professional with extensive experience in strategic HR management, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Currently she is the Head of Talent Planning and Acquisition at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where she leads a team of 13 members and oversees the recruitment and selection processes for an international organization with over 2,200 employees. 

In her tenure at UNIDO, Draga has held roles as Recruitment and Outreach Officer and Learning and Development Officer. Before joining UNIDO, she spent 19 years as an HR Manager in the private sector in Bulgaria, leading HR functions in companies across the automotive, insurance, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Her initiatives have transformed organizational culture, enhanced leadership capabilities, and improved employee engagement.

Draga holds a Master of Science in Management & Administration and is pursuing Bachelor's in Psychology. She is certified expert in DISC-based psychometric tool and Human Synergistics methodology for Organizational Culture Management.

In 2025, the Talent Acquisition team reduced the time to hire by 18% and processed over 1000 recruitments annually, earning the 2024 Special Team Award from the Managing Director of Corporate Services in UNIDO.
 

Luisa Zurek

Luisa Zurek is a Human Resources Associate in the Talent Planning and Acquisition Unit at UNIDO in Vienna, where she supports transparent, efficient recruitment processes and contributes to building a diverse workforce aligned with UNIDO’s mandate of inclusive and sustainable industrial development. She oversees end‑to‑end recruitment, conducts job classification reviews using ICSC standards, and contributes to the digitalization and continuous improvement of recruitment processes, also serving as the focal point for her team’s digitalization projects.
With over twelve years of experience across UNIDO, IAEA and CTBTO, Luisa brings strong expertise in talent acquisition, job classification, HR systems and process optimization in international and multicultural environments. Outside of work, she enjoys Vienna’s cultural scene and spending time outdoors.
 

Tina Stochmal

Acquisition Professional

Tina Stochmal is an HR and talent acquisition professional with over 17 years of experience across the UN system, including roles at WHO, UNHCR, and UNDP. She brings a global perspective to recruitment and workforce strategy, with extensive experience supporting hiring in complex, international environments and advising leaders on effective, fair, and impactful recruitment practices.
Her background spans both strategic and operational HR, from leading regional recruitment functions to delivering full-cycle recruitment and supporting organizational change. She has worked extensively with competency-based hiring, talent pipelines, and data-informed decision-making, while embedding inclusive and people-centred approaches across the employee lifecycle.
 

Preeti Nautiyal

Preeti Nautiyal has 25 years of experience within the United Nations system, with over 10 years dedicated to Human Resources. She specializes in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and End‑to‑End Employee Lifecycle Management, and possesses in‑depth knowledge of UN position classification and HR frameworks.Currently, she serves as a Recruiter and also co‑managing WHO’s recruitment systems. Her career spans across WHO’s Regional Office and Headquarters, giving her a strong understanding of HR operations in diverse organizational contexts.A PGDM (HR) holder and CIPD‑certified HR professional, Preeti has worked closely with managers, teams, and staff across different levels to address their HR needs, resolve workforce challenges, and strengthen organizational processes. Data is her passion, and Power BI is her forte, enabling her to integrate data‑driven insights into recruitment strategies, workforce analytics, and operational decision‑making.
