13:30 - 14:30 CEST

According to credible career development sources, such as CareerWise, more than 52% of job applications failed to impress hiring managers because the application documents were not succinctly developed. Applicants' primary documents lacked details that demonstrated relevant experience and skills. Imperatively, job applicants need the right skills to develop winning application documents that highlight their professional achievements and success stories.
The session provides participants with practical experience in building an achievement bank using the BASIC Model (B(Brief), A(Action), S(Skills), I (Internet), C (Connect)).  It also demonstrates how to map achievements to enrich application documents, including a CV (PHP) and a covering/motivation letter, and to develop interview scenarios, which in turn help participants thrive in a job interview.
