Interviews can feel unpredictable, but strong preparation and the right mindset can make a decisive difference. Participants will gain insights into common interview formats from UN and non-UN organisations and learn strategies to communicate their strengths in a structured and compelling way, demonstrating their value to hiring managers.

Wanda Muellner-Plenteda

With over 20 years of experience in the UN Secretariat in various divisions, 15 years of them in Learning & Development, Wanda Muellner Plenteda is well known as internal career counsellor, coach and training facilitator who specialises in preparing personnel in Vienna and in over 100 field office locations for successful CBI interviews and helping them to chart their career path. She is very passionate about her role and focuses on preparing her clients strategically for the next level in their career.

Gabriel Tuan

Gabriel Tuan is currently the Manager for Learning and Development for UN Women. His focus is on both creating collective leadership and team capacity to enable transformative systems change and providing holistic coaching and career coaching that integrates holistic learning, mindfulness, system thinking and participatory approaches.

He brings 25 years of experience with UN Women, UNICEF, UNRWA, OCHA, and DPKO across multiple duty stations helping staff, teams and senior leaders to operate effectively to deliver results in complex, emergency, protracted and post conflict settings.
 

Mian Nabeel Ahmad

Mian Nabeel Ahmad is a global HR and Talent expert with over 15 years of experience across the United Nations and private sector. He currently leads Strategic Talent Sourcing at the World Food Programme, where he designs inclusive hiring strategies, builds strong talent pipelines, and leverages data and digital tools to attract top global talent. Previously at Nestlé, he played a key role in leadership development, EVP activation, and capability building. A certified coach and trainer, Nabeel is passionate about agile HR, future-ready workforce planning, and creating high-impact talent strategies.

Domenico Taverna

Domenico is currently the Head of the Recruitment and Staff Development Unit at the Comprehensive Nuclear‑Test‑Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). In this role, he leads the Organization’s recruitment strategy, oversees staff development initiatives, and works closely with senior leadership on HR policy, workforce planning, and talent management priorities.  
Before joining the CTBTO, he held several senior Talent Acquisition and HR global roles in international organizations and across multiple duty stations, including World Bank Group (WBG), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the World Food Programme (WFP) and also in the private working at Procter & Gamble (P&G), bringing extensive experience in global talent acquisition and HR strategy.
