Non-UN Secretariat staff members, who have the authorization of their HR/Staff Development or Learning focal point, will need to create a profile in Inspira. The HR/Staff Development or Learning focal point will then coordinate with UNOG to enrol the participant in the course. Please refer to this document for the procedure.

To cancel your participation in a course please go to Inspira and drop from the course. If this option is not available in Inspira (four working days before the course), please send an email to clm_mc@un.org.

In case of absence or late cancellation, your organization will be charged the full price of the course, unless you offer a replacement or if your absence is justified by a medical certificate. A late cancellation is any cancellation within four days of the start of the workshop.

When you cancel your participation in a course, your place is given to a participant from the waiting list.

Waiting list

When there are no places available in the course you have enrolled in, you will be placed on a waiting list. Participants on a waiting list are informed by email before the course starts in case there are still places available.

Procedure for obtaining a UNOG parking badge for a vehicle or a UNOG ground pass:

1. UN staff and staff members of specialized agencies in possession of a valid grounds pass to access UNOG: you can pick up a parking authorization from the UNOG Security ID Unit, Pregny Gate, one week before the start date of the courses on presentation of your invitation letter, official photo ID badge, your vehicle documents ( carte grise/insurance papers), and valid passports of countries recognized by the United Nations and identity cards from Schengen countries. National identity cards of other countries and driving licenses will no longer be accepted.

2. Staff members of other organizations who do not possess an official photo ID will have to present their invitation letter and valid passports of countries recognized by the United Nations and identity cards from Schengen countries in order to be issued with a grounds pass at the UNOG Security ID Unit, Pregny Gate, (Tel 022 917 50 02), which will enable you to enter the grounds of the Palais des Nations on foot (access in a vehicle is not authorized). Holders of these badges will only have access to the Bocage Pavillon and to the public areas of the Palais des Nations.
