In this session, HR specialists from the OPCW will explain the role and value of job descriptions, demonstrate how to interpret them through a live breakdown, and help you navigate them with ease. The session will also include practical tips on how to effectively position yourself for a specific JD.

Damla Deniz Taskin

Damla Deniz Taskin currently serves as the Associate Organisational Design Officer at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). In this role, she leads the drafting and analytical review of job descriptions for the OPCW, and contributes to strategic workforce planning and organisational design initiatives. She brings strong expertise in organisational design, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and effective role structuring across divisions and branches. Her background includes experience across various HR domains, including at both centralized and decentralized international organisations, as well as HR practice at a national level. 

Milan Jelenkovic

Milan Jelenkovic is an experienced HR professional currently holding the role of Head, Talent Acquisition at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). On daily basis, Milan works with his colleagues in the Human Resources Branch on ensuring that the best talent is sought after and retained at the OPCW. Milan and the Talent Acquisition team contribute to creating an agile, diverse and inclusive OPCW workforce through defining recruitment profiles, data-driven talent outreach and optimal time-to-hire. Milan holds an MBA degree and a CIPD Advanced Diploma in HR Management, and has worked in both field and HQ duty stations in several countries before joining the OPCW.
