Rana Irshaid Andersen
Rana has two decades of experience in international human resources management extending from talent acquisition, onboarding and off-boarding, contract management, and in-depth knowledge of policy development and implementation. Her current role as the head of the UNDP Recruitment Secretariat offers her both strategic and operational insight into the recruitment and selection activities across multiple contexts. She has undertaken several field missions and short-term deployments to country and regional offices, as well as serving as an HR Business partner with WIPO, Geneva.
Before joining the UN, Rana worked as course designer and instructor with Eriksson and has experience in the field of architecture both from Denmark and Jordan.
Rana holds a degree in Architecture from the University of North Carolina, USA, with postgraduate studies in Building Archaeology and Restoration from the Danish Royal Academy, Copenhagen. She also holds a Master of Science degree in International Human Resource Management from the University of Manchester, UK.
