Mr. Colas is from the United States of America and holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Administration from CUNY York College. He worked for the United Nations Organization for over 33 years in the areas of Travel and Transportation, Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Budget and Conference Services. He worked at two Duty Stations: UNHQ - 18 years and at UNOG - 15 years. Currently, he is the Chief of the Distribution Unit, which is responsible for the provision of all official Geneva UN documentation for GA mandated conferences. He also oversees the provision of services for the UN Journal for Geneva.

Mr. Colas served on two peacekeeping missions: May 1994 UNOMSA, South Africa – Logistics Assistant for the 1st democratic elections in South Africa, and 1995-1997 UNAVEM III, Angola – Acting Administrative Officer at Menongue Regional Headquarters. He speaks English, French, Creole (Haiti), Portuguese, and Spanish.
