Course Objectives

This short 30-minute learning programme explains the UN standards and policies on key records and information management. The programme will help you understand your responsibilities as a staff member so you can contribute to the accountability and transparency of the Organization and preserve its institutional memory. The programme is offered in English and French.

Effective 1 July 2023, all staff members are to complete this new programme by 30 September 2023 at the latest, or within six months of joining the UN Secretariat.

How to enroll

Staff members should log into Inspira and click on the “Mandatory Courses” button on the dashboard, or click through the following path, starting at the top-right corner of the dashboard: Main Menu > Navigator > Self Service > Learning > Mandatory Learning.

Non-staff personnel can access and complete mandatory programmes via inspira eLearning.

As a reminder, staff members are required to complete self-paced mandatory learning programmes within six months of their effective date of introduction, or within six months of joining the Organization.
