English

Welcome to the English language programme.

English is the language used globally for communication and business and one of the two working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

We offer a variety of in-person and online courses, all tutor-led, intended for non-native English speakers who want to acquire English language skills to communicate in personal, public and professional contexts.

Our general courses cover levels UN I to UN III. Explore oral and written communication samples to learn about the skills expected at the UN I, UN II and UN III.

We also offer various specialized courses, including advanced courses in written and oral communication for those who use English as a working language.

For more details, refer to the English Programme Overview.
