The goal of this course is to acquire better spoken fluency in professional and day-to-day situations.
This course covers a wide range of themes, including international and local news. It aims to enrich the participants’ vocabulary and knowledge of idiomatic phrases, and allows participants to practise different registers of language. This course also includes an oral presentation in front of other course participants.
To develop spontaneous speaking: discussions, debates, simulations, role-plays, fun activities
To practise public speaking: a short, spoken introduction of yourself (around 10 minutes)
There is no formal evaluation. Completion requirement: 70 per cent attendance
