The objective of this course is to provide greater knowledge and understanding of the
intermediate level structures of the spoken language, the improvement of the communicative
competence and the acquisition of the cultural knowledge of the Spanish-speaking
countries in order to be able to communicate more effectively in a variety of situations.
This course develops communication skills through guided conversations on a variety of topics related to the contemporary Hispanic world.
Communicative activities based on grammar in context to develop the participants' oral skills as well as their lexical and grammatical knowledge.
There is no formal evaluation. Completion requirement: 70 per cent attendance.
